It was really hot and water was scarce in my notes it said that there would be water at the Picnic area but camping wasn’t allowed. I found a spot just before the Picnic ground and hiked to the Picnic ground to get water. I found the water taps had been switchoed off. I managed to get some water off the caretakers friend but had to listen to Rod Dixon and John Walker stories. I didn’t have quiet enough water to see me through so I asked some track volunteers for some. They pointed out a spring down a side track and gave me some bottled water and some bars.
