5th Hogpen Gap- Unicorni Gap 23kms

Father at the beginning having trouble motivating his teenagers that they really wanted to do 23 kms Offered them to me said I’d had my turn. Those that stayed at the shelter had a very cold night and I did find hoar frost on the track. I had one hill to climb then the track pretty much angled round the hill untilBlue Mountain then down to my pick up. Saw chipmunks for the first time and the trees are finally beginning to leaf up. Ian suggested I hike an extra 4 miles off the track to camp he got told.

My highlight for the day was sitting by the fire sipping moonshine
